Sometimes We Must Answer “No”
Our spiritual theme for January is Possibility. How do we open ourselves to growth and change, to new choices and possibilities? And what might be preventing us from embracing new choices? Sometimes there has to be a ‘no’ before there can be a ‘yes’.
“Still Christmas?”
With a diverse combination of texts and music we will celebrate the passing of the winter solstice, stories about the wise visitors who followed a star to Bethlehem, be mindful of light in our lives through meditation and explore the many meanings of epiphany.
“Go Back and Get It”
Join us on Sunday as we take a reflective look back at the year passing away from us. We will have a ritual of burning our regrets and the choir will sing.
“Celebrating Silent Night”
Our traditional service of lessons, carols, and candlelighting, with the choir, special readers, and a string trio led by Nathan Cohen. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the composition of Silent Night. What will this evening hold for you?
Join us for our annual no-rehearsal, all-ages Christmas Pageant, in which the ancient story of the Nativity is told once again. We'll sing carols and dress up and celebrate the child in us all.
