Volunteer

The Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church offers many ways to get engaged in our congregational life, and volunteering is an excellent way to get to know people and to feel at home. Newcomers are often invited to usher on Sunday mornings, or to help provide refreshments for coffee hour. Our choir is always looking for new members.

We have a variety of short-term volunteer roles, such as helping with the church fair, traditionally held in early December, or joining in on a congregational work day, that takes place a couple of times per year. The Care Team is always looking for people who can offer rides or meals to people who need some assistance. Our committees and ministry teams also like having new members as well.

Our minister invites people to reach out to her when you feel ready to become more involved, and she will help connect you. And don’t be surprised if you are asked to join in!
